Goodman Progresses at Arlington Square, Bracknell

7 February 2011

Goodman, the international property group which owns, develops and manages business parks across the UK, has secured a further new letting at Three Arlington Square, Bracknell.

Leading global software company Progress Software has taken 9,000 sq ft on a ten year lease with a 5 year break.  The company is moving to Arlington Square from premises on Bath Road, Slough Trading Estate.

The deal closely follows a similar letting in the same building to technology provider Broadcom earlier in the year.

The building has recently undergone major refurbishment, which has helped underline Arlington Square as one of the Thames Valley’s premier business locations, attracting considerable occupier interest and securing two significant lettings in the second half of the year.. Three Arlington Square can accommodate office requirements from 4,000 to 48,000 sq ft on a range of competitive terms, as evidenced by these early lettings.

James Raven, Development Director at Goodman, said: “Our investment in improving Arlington Square has yielded a quick return with two lettings which reinforce the Park’s reputation as exceptional value, high quality accommodation in an increasingly competitive market place”.

Arlington Square, Bracknell is a 22 acre urban business park adjacent to Bracknell town centre. Its location offers access to the town centre and railway station, within five minutes walk, and the M4 is less than five minutes drive in the car.
Originally designed to reflect the proportions of Mayfair's St James Square, Arlington Square has been extensively landscaped to provide an environment of unrivalled quality.  It features award-winning landscaping, with a range of water features, walkways, planting and seating areas.

Goodman was represented by King Sturge, while Colliers CRE acted for Progress Software.
